Job Summary

We are hiring a Media Sales Manager on behalf of a client in the Advertising Industry. The ideal candidate will take the lead in sales activities across digital, print, radio, TV, and emerging media platforms. This full-time position requires a seasoned sales leader with a strategic mindset to help shape the future of media sales and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Identify new business opportunities, manage existing relationships, and lead the sales team to surpass targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients, understand their marketing needs, and offer tailored media solutions.
  • Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies to expand the company’s media offerings and enter new markets.
  • Sales Presentations: Lead sales pitches and presentations, demonstrating the company’s media products and their benefits to prospective clients.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to optimize the company’s positioning.
  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing, creative, and operations teams to ensure seamless media campaign execution and outstanding client experiences.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Track sales performance, forecast sales goals, and provide regular updates to senior management on pipeline status and opportunities.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee sales budgets and resources to maximize results and optimize ROI.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in media sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of digital, broadcast, print, and outdoor media advertising strategies. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with a sales team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing a sales team and creating strategic sales plans.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising, programmatic buying, and social media marketing.
  • Existing relationships with decision-makers in the media and advertising industry.
  • Advanced data analysis skills to interpret sales performance and provide insights.
