The company specializes in livestock and crop farming, with a primary focus on cashew crop production. As part of its expansion plan, Umera Farms aims to establish the largest cashew plantation in Africa under the Nutty Park Cashew Plantation initiative.

Job Title: Farm Managing Director

• Location: Adafila, Ogbomoso, Oyo State
• Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

The Farm Managing Director will be responsible for the overall management, strategy, and profitability of the farm. Key duties include:
✅ Strategic Planning: Develop and implement policies for sustainable farm operations.
✅ Farm Operations: Oversee daily farm activities, including crop and livestock production.
✅ Financial Management: Monitor budgets, ensure cost-effectiveness, and drive profitability.
✅ Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to agricultural regulations and safety standards.
✅ Stakeholder Relations: Manage partnerships with farm owners, investors, and suppliers.
✅ Reporting: Provide strategic insights and reports to the board on farm progress and challenges.

Job Requirements

To qualify for this role, applicants must have:
📌 A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a related field.
📌 Proven experience in farm management or a leadership role within the agriculture sector.
📌 Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
📌 In-depth knowledge of modern agricultural best practices and technologies.
