Job Description

Early Years Teacher
As an Early Years Teacher, you will be at the heart of a child’s early learning journey, responsible for designing and implementing a curriculum that is both stimulating and developmentally appropriate. You will create a supportive and safe learning environment that helps young learners develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with fellow teachers, parents, and the school administration to provide a holistic education that allows each child to thrive.

Assistant Teacher
The Assistant Teacher role is designed to support the Early Years Teacher in delivering an engaging curriculum. You will assist in providing a nurturing environment where young learners can grow, both academically and emotionally. Your role will include collaboration with other educators, parents, and school leadership to ensure that every child receives the best educational experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Early Years Teacher:

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; or a degree in other fields with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, or a National Certificate in Education (NCE) with at least 3 years of teaching experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an Early Years Teacher. Experience with Jolly Phonics and developing eLearning resources will be an advantage.
• Certifications: TRCN (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria) certification is a plus.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of child development theories, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as basic proficiency with computing devices.

Assistant Teacher:

• Qualifications: NCE required.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Early Years education. Knowledge of Jolly Phonics and eLearning tools is a plus.
• Certifications: TRCN certification is an added advantage.
• Skills: Strong understanding of early childhood development and excellent communication skills, with basic computing proficiency.
