Nuru Nigeria, a leading NGO dedicated to eradicating extreme poverty, is seeking a Consultant for the Youth Green Innovation Challenge in Yola, Adamawa. This initiative is designed to support young entrepreneurs in the green economy by providing funding and tools to scale up sustainable businesses.

Job Description & Objectives

The Youth Green Innovation Challenge aims to:
✅ Create job opportunities for youth in the green sector.
✅ Promote environmental sustainability and climate-resilient practices.
✅ Encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among young farmers.
✅ Provide capital injection to youth-led initiatives for long-term sustainability.

The project will be implemented in Gombi and Hong LGAs in Adamawa, targeting local youth involved in green business ventures.

Key Focus Areas

Participants in the program will receive support for projects in:

• 🌞 Renewable Energy Solutions – e.g., solar-powered agricultural tools, biofuels.
• 🌿 Sustainable Agriculture – e.g., organic farming, climate-smart agriculture.
• ♻️ Waste Management & Recycling – e.g., composting, plastic reuse.
• 💧 Water Conservation & Management – e.g., efficient irrigation systems.

Expected Deliverables

By the end of the program, the selected consultant will help achieve:
✔️ Support for 94 youth entrepreneurs with capital injection kits.
✔️ Job creation and economic growth in target communities.
✔️ Sustainable business practices for long-term impact.
✔️ Successful completion of the challenge within one month.

Eligibility & Application Requirements

📌 Valid tax payment certificate
📌 Experience working with INGOs/UN Agencies
📌 Completed Nuru Nigeria vendor registration form
📌 Quotation with unit prices (WHT included)
