Project Scope & Objectives

The BC-RAD Project is a rural empowerment initiative that provides training and livelihood support to farmers. As part of this effort, Nuru Nigeria seeks to procure processing kits that will enable farmers to add value to their products, including groundnut oil, soy milk, and soy flour. The project aims to:

• Equip farmer organizations with sealing machines, packaging materials, and labeling tools.
• Improve the quality and presentation of locally produced food items.
• Enhance farmers’ access to high-end markets by ensuring well-packaged, branded products.

Required Equipment for Procurement

The following items will be supplied under this tender:

1. Sealing Machines – Used to properly package processed goods, improving shelf life and market appeal.
2. Thick Food Packaging Leather – Essential for durable and attractive food packaging.
3. Product Stickers – Branding and labeling materials to create a professional look.
4. Clear PET Plastic Bottles with Screw Caps – For packaging liquid products such as groundnut oil and soy milk.
5. Spice Jar Plastic Containers – Used for packaging local spices like yaji (suya spice).
6. Ziplock Bag-Colored Pouches – Designed for groundnut cake and other dry food products.

Tender Selection Process

All tenders will go through a comprehensive evaluation process conducted by an assessment committee at Nuru Nigeria’s Yola office. The selection criteria include:

• Adherence to technical specifications.
• Product quality and delivery time.
• Experience working with NGOs and UN agencies.
• Company registration and tax compliance.

The evaluation stages include:

1. Tender Submission
2. Administrative & Technical Evaluation
3. Financial Evaluation
4. Contract Award

Only bidders who meet the Administrative and Technical requirements will proceed to the Financial Evaluation stage.

🛑 Deadline for Submission: March 4, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Late submissions will not be accepted.
