Job Overview: Logistics Officer – Renewable Energy (Solar)

As a Logistics Officer, you will manage the end-to-end logistics process, including importation, storage, inventory management, and distribution of goods. You will also oversee customs clearance, warehouse operations, and timely delivery of products to customers while ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shipment & Customs Clearance

• Coordinate importation and customs clearance.
• Prepare necessary documentation such as PI, FORM M, PAAR, and insurance applications.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and monitor customs clearance to ensure timely goods delivery.

2. Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Oversee warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure accurate inventory tracking and data alignment.
• Implement security and insurance policies for warehouse safety.

3. Order Fulfillment & Logistics

• Manage the delivery process, ensuring goods reach customers on time.
• Monitor the logistics pipeline and ensure order confirmations.

4. Documentation & System Utilization

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, customs clearance, and deliveries.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, or similar platforms for logistics efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

✔ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
✔ Experience: Minimum 3 years of logistics, warehousing, or supply chain experience.
✔ Industry Knowledge: Experience in renewable energy, logistics, or water meter solutions is a plus.
✔ Technical & Strategic Skills:

• Expertise in renewable energy logistics.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and sales strategy skills.
• Ability to manage logistics budgets and cost-effectiveness.
  ✔ Soft Skills:
• Leadership and team collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
